The Dryden Recreation Complex is the home of two great arenas. Arena 1 opened July 9, 1979. It includes an ice surface measuring 85′ x 200′ seating 1,000 people and 8 dressing rooms. In March of 1988, Arena 2 opened. That ice surface measures 85′ x 180′ and the arena has provisional seating with 4 inter-locked dressing rooms.
In 2007, the City of Dryden named Arena #2 in honour of Chris Pronger, a local athlete achieving great success in the NHL culminating in his induction to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
User groups include Ice Hockey, Ringette, Figure Skating, Curling and is available for special events and rental all year round.
