Bringing together ice sport enthusiasts from across the city, this approximately 80,000 square foot competitive tournament facility features two multi-purpose rinks for ice sports such as hockey, sledge hockey, ringette and figure skating.
Great Plains is operated by the Calgary Female Sports Development Association, a not-for-profit organization committed to ensuring women, girls and underrepresented populations have access to ice sports in Calgary.
The CFSDA is committed to providing all ice enthusiasts with opportunities for sport, recreation and leisure. All bookings are managed by the CFSDA.
Designed for athletes and fans, the facility accommodates up to 600 spectators through a combination of warm and cold-side seating.
